Laura Mančinska is an Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen, where she leads her research group at the QMATH center. Her work focuses on quantum software, with the aim of discovering new information processing tasks where quantum technologies offer a clear advantage. Laura has held several leadership roles within the quantum information community, including serving as the Steering Committee Chair for the Quantum Information Processing (QIP) conference, the flagship annual event in the field of quantum computing theory. She is also the recipient of an ERC Starting Grant (2023-2028).​​​​​
